Nichols on a Hot Streak, CLL Player of the Week Monday, July 10th, 2034 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Cory Lidle League, but last week Justin Nichols of the Phoenix Lights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Nichols rocked opposing pitching for a .375 average (9-for-24), 4 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Nichols is hitting .307, produced 63 RBIs and 16 home runs, scored 57 times and gotten on base at a .415 rate. |
