Season Possibly Over for Eduardo Alaniz Saturday, July 8th, 2034 Eduardo Alaniz of the Monarchs just might have to call it quits for the season. The 24-year-old Marysville reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Ruidoso Osos recently at Mitts Fieldhouse. Alaniz suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Monarchs medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. Currently Alaniz has no relief appearances, saving 0. His record is 1-4 with 31 strikeouts in 44 innings and a 6.14 ERA. |
