RHL's Best Player, Liller of Cincinnati Monday, June 26th, 2034 22-year-old Justin Liller made a few Cincinnati headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Roy Halladay League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 20 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Liller collected 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This season Liller has hit at a .307 clip and produced 27 RBI, 8 home runs and 23 runs. |
