Castillo and Spencer Suspended for Free-for-All Friday, May 19th, 2034 Today the league office handed out 9-game suspensions to Jesús Castillo of the Hawks and Eugene Spencer of the Hellcats for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at Basque Block Field yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." Castillo is hitting .314 in 2034 with 8 RBIs and 1 home run. This season Spencer has compiled a 2-2 mark with a 4.68 ERA in 9 starts. |
