Just ask Colby Virella, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Rock River Rats reliever, 22, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .223 average and walked away with the Roy Halladay League Pitcher of the Month award for April. Virella posted a 4-0 mark and a 2.97 ERA in no relief appearances. In 36.1 innings, he had no saves, 32 strikeouts, and 17 walks. |
