Pierce Selected RHL Player of the Week Monday, May 1st, 2034 So far in his young career, Willis Pierce has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Roy Halladay League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Wichita Wolverines first baseman hit at a torrid .652 clip as he collected 15 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Currently Pierce has 2 home runs and a .319 batting average. |
