CLL Awards Player of the Week Monday, May 1st, 2034 Sam Whitmore burst onto the Cory Lidle League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Jacksonville garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .435 (10-for-23) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week. Whitmore is hitting at a .333 mark this season. His stats show 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has played 24 games for the Hellcats. |
