Big Day for Takano: Swats 5 Hits Friday, April 14th, 2034 It seemed that Sandy Springs third baseman Satomi Takano could do no wrong as the Spartans KO'd the Bulldogs, 14-4 today. Takano rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Bulldogs hurlers were throwing. "I think the Spartans were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Spokane fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Takano in the postgame press interview. Satomi Takano singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
