Taylor Bastien Named ACL's Best Player Friday, November 11th, 2033 The future looks extremely bright for Taylor Bastien. At the age of 22, many players are still trying to find their way in DOUBLE A. Bastien has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Cory Lidle League Most Valuable Player Award. "I didn't expect to hit .350 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said. The Pacifica Shamrocks star also put up a .427 on-base percentage this year, with 214 hits, 40 doubles, 5 triples, 34 home runs, 108 RBIs and 124 runs scored. Barry Huffman of the Pacifica Shamrocks finished second in voting, while Dan Thibodeau of the Pacifica Shamrocks finished third. |
