Hrabosky Jr. Voted FFL Cy Young Award Thursday, November 10th, 2033 In 2033 when Wichita reliever Al Hrabosky Jr. strolled in from the bullpen, it spelled "Relief with a capital R." He usually put a quick end to any budding rally. For his sensational mound work he was voted the Bob Moose League Cy Young Award winner. The Wolverines bullpen specialist converted 36 saves this year with a 10-5 record and 2.23 ERA. He appeared in 76 games and struck out 124 in 84.2 innings. Magyver McKenzie of the Wichita Wolverines finished second in voting, while Charlie Haydon of the Wichita Wolverines finished third. |
