Star of the Week Awarded in FFL Monday, October 3rd, 2033 So far in his young career, Roberto Marando has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Bob Moose League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Spokane Bulldogs catcher hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 8 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Marando is hitting .274 in 2033 with 43 RBIs and 11 home runs. |
