Haydon Dominates Storm Troopers in Shutout

In an excellent mound performance, Charlie Haydon of the Wichita Wolverines whitewashed the San Antonio Storm Troopers 4-0 on a 6-hitter.
"I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game.
In all, the Wichita hurler rang up 13 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout win.
"We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Storm Troopers manager Thom Long said. "Haydon did a good job keeping us guessing."
Haydon has made 32 starts, tossed 197.2 innings, struck out 174 batters and walked 84. His record is 9-9 with a 3.73 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .270 batting average.
