Player of the Week: Wichita's Gross Monday, September 26th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Bob Moose League, but last week Shane Gross of the Wichita Wolverines reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Gross rocked opposing pitching for a .600 average (12-for-20), 2 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Gross has hit at a .290 clip and produced 62 RBI, 4 home runs and 70 runs. |
