Spartans Nordstrom Lost for Year Saturday, September 17th, 2033 When Brent Nordstrom was hurt against the Phoenix Lights, the Sandy Springs Spartans were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 26-year-old third baseman suffered a broken bone in the elbow running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Nordstrom would miss 5 months of the season. This year Nordstrom is hitting .329 with 2 home runs and 15 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .429 clip and scored 10 runs. |
