Friday, September 16th, 2033
Tom Polk has to call it a season. The Sandy Springs Spartans reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Phoenix Lights and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Polk was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months.

This season Polk has logged 1 save. He has thrown 55.1 innings, dished out 65 strikeouts and walked 17 while putting up a 5-4 mark and a 4.23 ERA.
