Season May Be Over for Bulldogs Cortéz Wednesday, September 14th, 2033 The season is finished for Raúl Cortéz of the Spokane Bulldogs. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Bulldogs first baseman suffered knee surgery while making a defensive play in a recent game against the Cincinnati Snaps. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. For the season Cortéz is batting .302 with 129 hits and 28 home runs. He has scored 65 times and batted in 81. |
