Colvin Selected ACL Player of the Week Monday, September 12th, 2033 21-year-old Devin Colvin made a few Newark headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Cory Lidle League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 15 at-bats to put up a .667 average. Colvin collected 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 6 runs. This season Colvin has delivered 27 hits in 69 at-bats for a .391 average with 7 home runs. He is getting on base at a .447 clip and his totals also include 15 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This year Colvin has played in 18 games. |
