Turner Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Friday, September 9th, 2033 J.P. Turner really sizzled at the plate in today's 14-10 win over Monarchs. The Silicon Valley right fielder blistered Marysville for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Turner was too tough to get out today," the Monarchs skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." J.P. Turner singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
