Silicon Valley's Godin to Miss Season
Friday, September 9th, 2033
Silicon Valley reliever Mike Godin could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn labrum. He exited yesterday's Marysville game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Godin would be out 6-7 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

Thus far this season Godin has saved 0 games. His won-lost mark is no wins and 1 loss with 6 strikeouts in 6.2 innings, along with a 6.75 ERA.
