Season-Ending Injury for Ruggiero Valturri Wednesday, September 7th, 2033 Ruggiero Valturri will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Frisco reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Valturri was injured while throwing a pitch in the Rams-Cornhuskers clash at Outlander Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. This year his season stats show Valturri has 2 saves in 20 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 3.44 ERA. |
