Freeman and Chavez Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, September 3rd, 2033 Boise and Topeka have been advised by the league commissioner that the Hawks Pete Freeman and the Predators Angel Chavez have been suspended 5 games each for instigating the brawl at yesterday's game at Basque Block Field. For the season Freeman is batting .314 with 97 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 58 times and batted in 44. Chavez has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 9-10 record with a 5.21 ERA. The Topeka reliever has limited opposing batters to a .265 batting average. |
