August's Starter of the Month Goes to King Thursday, September 1st, 2033 Gareth King hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Bob Moose League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the Spokane starter earned a 3-1 mark in 6 starts. He threw 45 innings, struck out 56 and compiled a solid 2.20 ERA. King has made 20 starts so far this year and put up a 8-5 won-lost record with a 4.49 ERA. In 128.1 innings he has allowed 122 hits, walked 79 and struck out 152. |
