Bob Moose League Announces August's Best Batter Thursday, September 1st, 2033 At only 21 years of age, Roberto Vargas could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Sandy Springs Spartans, as August was one to remember for the catcher and he has captured the Bob Moose League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .361 with 10 home runs, 15 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Batting .326 to date, Vargas has 16 home runs and 38 RBIs. |
