Super Week for DeKalb's Giese! Monday, August 29th, 2033 David Giese burst onto the Bob Moose League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for DeKalb garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .647 (11-for-17) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs last week. Thus far this season Giese is hitting .354 with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 113 at-bats and has played in 38 games. |
