Big Day for Nelson: Swats 5 Hits Wednesday, August 3rd, 2033 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Cody Nelson of the Fraser Valley Black Bears had one of those moments when he went 5-for-7 at the plate today in the 12-2 win over the Riverside Red Bulls at Red Bull Stadium. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 24-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Cody Nelson doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
