Rowdy Players Suspended by League Monday, August 1st, 2033 Both benches got involved in a rowdy fracas during the Atlantic City-Wichita game at Parliament Field. The two main culprits have been suspended by the league. The Enforcers Benjamin Melsome and the Wolverines Pedro Galló were each issued 6-game suspensions for their unsportsmanlike behavior and aggressive actions. This season in 38 games, Melsome has hit at a .281 clip with 34 hits, 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 26 runs scored. So far this season Galló has worked 50 innings in 36 relief appearances with 4 saves. He has dished out 83 strikeouts and walked 27 with a 6-1 mark and a 3.06 ERA. |
