Bob Moose League Announces Best Starter Monday, August 1st, 2033 This month when the Topeka manager wrote the name "Hinojosa" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in July Miguel Hinojosa took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-1 mark and 1.84 ERA in 6 starts, piling up 49 innings and 32 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .175 average. For his superb performance Hinojosa was named the Bob Moose League Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. In 22 starts this season Hinojosa has gathered 10 wins while suffering 6 losses. He has pitched 138.2 innings, allowed 139 hits, struck out 111 and has a 4.61 ERA. |
