Red Bulls Bolden Jr. to Miss Year Saturday, July 23rd, 2033 The season is finished for Ricky Bolden Jr. of the Riverside Red Bulls. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Red Bulls starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Silicon Valley Hackers. Team doctors said it would take at least 6-7 months to heal. So far this season Bolden Jr. has a 6-4 record, 15 starts, 74.2 innings, 81 strikeouts and a 4.10 ERA. |
