Mustang Robles Lost for Year
Tuesday, June 21st, 2033
The season is apparently over for Pedro Robles. The Carson City Mustang medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 12 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Robles was hurt in the game against Spokane while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
Robles has made 14 starts so far this year and put up a 4-6 won-lost record with a 6.83 ERA. In 56.2 innings he has allowed 66 hits, walked 44 and struck out 54.
