FFL Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 6th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Bob Moose League, but last week Oscar Mayes of the Spokane Bulldogs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Mayes rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (9-for-21), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. Looking at his present stats, Mayes has compiled a .319 batting average in 44 games with a .393 on-base percentage, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 44 runs. |
