Bennett Tosses Shutout for Riverside Saturday, June 4th, 2033 Charlie Bennett was impressive at Basque Block Field today in the Riverside Red Bulls' 2-0 shutout victory over the Boise Hawks. The Riverside pitcher mystified the Hawks in a strong performance, giving up 4 hits and totaling 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. "Charlie had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Riverside manager Will Hunt. "It was something special to watch." His stats sheet for the year shows Bennett has managed to hold opponents to a .287 average in 6 relief appearances, while putting up 1-4 record with 34 strikeouts and 16 walks in 33 innings.
