Hernández at His Best, Blanks Youngstown Saturday, May 28th, 2033 The Wichita Wolverines did little to support starter Luis Hernández against the Youngstown Tune-Ups, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Tune-Ups, striking out 8 and surrendering 6 hits. The performance from Hernández allowed Wichita to escape with the 2-0 win despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said 'Luis, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Hernández told BNN reporters following the win.
