Beeman Red-Hot, ACL Player of the Week Monday, May 2nd, 2033 So far in his young career, Tim Beeman has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Cory Lidle League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Marysville Monarchs center fielder hit at a torrid .429 clip as he collected 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This year Beeman is batting .337 with 2 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
