Player of the Week Trophy to Zapor Monday, April 25th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Bob Moose League, but last week Jack Zapor of the Fraser Valley Black Bears reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Zapor rocked opposing pitching for a .444 average (12-for-27), 5 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. Looking at his present stats, Zapor has compiled a .359 batting average in 17 games with a .393 on-base percentage, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 28 runs. |
