Rams Shibata and Hellcats Ramírez Suspended for Fight Tuesday, April 19th, 2033 Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Rams Kunihiro Shibata and the Hellcats Luis Ramírez as both benches cleared during the fracas at Outlander Park. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Kunihiro Shibata and Luis Ramírez will each have to sit out 4-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. For the year Shibata has hit at a .228 clip with 6 RBIs, 1 home run and 6 runs scored. |
