Reyes Torches Ducks for 5 Hits Sunday, April 10th, 2033 It was a hits blitz for Luis Reyes at The Kennel today. The Spokane Bulldogs center fielder tore into the Long Island Ducks for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Ducks swept past the Bulldogs 8-5 to ruin Reyes's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Spokane manager Chris Carpenter explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Luis was nice but it wasn't enough." Luis Reyes singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
