The Topeka Predators whipped the Wichita Wolverines 18-4 and right fielder Germán Peña showed off a hot bat, going 5-for-5 at the plate. "Some days, lady luck is on your side," Peña told BNN reporters after the game. Predators manager Dan Jones told the beat writers otherwise, calling the 23-year-old "focused and patient." "It's not luck," he said. "He has a solid approach to hitting. Germán hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."
