Scott McFarland Named Premier DKL Player
Monday, November 13th, 2034
At the age of 22, Scott McFarland of the Antioch Coal Miners could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2034 was good enough to win the first baseman the Darryl Kile League Most Valuable Player Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .338 batting average this year, as well as a .420 on-base percentage. He played 139 games and racked up 183 hits, 34 doubles, 2 triples, 35 home runs, 120 RBIs and 115 runs scored.

Gerard Vivian of the Antioch Coal Miners finished second in voting, while Monte Irvin of the Astoria Argonauts finished third.
