Pinnock Nabs NAL Most Valuable Player Award
Monday, November 13th, 2034
He may have less experience than most of his TRIPLE A peers, but that didn't slow John Pinnock down at all in 2034.
At the age of 23, the Fairfield first baseman has been named the winner of the Nick Adenhart League Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .327 batting average and a .420 on-base percentage this year. In 148 games he piled up 180 hits, 26 doubles, 3 triples, 30 home runs, 101 RBIs and 76 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
Pat Triska of the Indian Wells Aeropostales finished second in voting, while Jason Trude of the Coronado Phantoms finished third.
