Irate Rodríguez Suspended 3 Games Monday, October 2nd, 2034 José Rodríguez of the Vancouver Canadians was suspended for 3 games today by the league office for "inappropriate actions" during a game against Coronado yesterday. He was ejected for arguing a call after he struck out on a called third strike. His manager had to physically restrain the Canadians second baseman. "You get caught up in the situation, emotions. No grudges, you move on," Rodríguez said in the clubhouse today, while talking to reporters about the suspension. Rodríguez is hitting .243 for the season with 4 home runs, 47 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has 120 hits in 494 at-bats and played in 135 games. |
