Sunday, October 1st, 2034
Scott McFarland went 0-for-4 at The Coal Mine today to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 21 games. The 22-year-old Antioch first baseman failed to get a hit today in the Coal Miners 5-4 victory over the Calgary Kodiaks at The Coal Mine.

McFarland did not make himself available to reporters after the game.

"I think Scott is a little upset," Antioch manager Hervé Barthélémy said. "He'll get over it."

McFarland's current batting average stands at .337 and he has chalked up 32 home runs and 112 RBIs.
