NAL Honors September's #1 Pitcher Sunday, October 1st, 2034 There's something about a young rookie winning the Nick Adenhart League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Cai-fei Men, a 26-year-old starter for the Vancouver Canadians. In September, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 1.53 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 35.1 innings, fanned 21 and held opposing teams to a .210 average. To date this season, Men has registered 14 starts, 5-6 won-lost mark, 3.33 ERA, 119 IP, 84 strikeouts and 52 walks. Opposing teams have hit .235 against him. |
