McFarland Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Friday, September 29th, 2034 Scott McFarland went 2-for-4 in the 3-2 Antioch Coal Miners victory over the Calgary Kodiaks at The Coal Mine today. McFarland declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Scott McFarland grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Alfredo Crespo in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This year McFarland is hitting .339 with 32 home runs and 111 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .420 clip and scored 109 runs. |
