MacAulay Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Tuesday, September 26th, 2034 The Billings Mustangs may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 6-5 to the Astoria Argonauts, but Kendrick MacAulay continued to hit like a god. The first baseman collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "MacAulay is playing great and is on fire right now," Mustangs manager Bill Martin said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." MacAulay was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Kendrick MacAulay flied out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. MacAulay is hitting .341 this season with 1 home run, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 62 hits in 182 at-bats. |
