Scott McFarland, the Antioch Coal Miners 22-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Darryl Kile League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 12 hits in 24 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. So far this season McFarland is hitting .338 with 31 home runs. |
