Walker Hoekstra Injured, Out for Season Friday, September 15th, 2034 Walker Hoekstra is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Albuquerque organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 12 months with a damaged elbow ligament. The 24-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Omaha Raptors. So far this year Hoekstra has compiled a 3-2 record with a 4.47 ERA. |
