Cacti Fierro Suffers Injury Tuesday, September 12th, 2034 Albuquerque Cacti reliever Willie Fierro suffered shoulder inflammation during a recent game with the Chicago Titans and will miss 4-5 weeks. Fierro told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." To this point in the season, Fierro has put up these figures: 9-7 record, 77 relief appearances with 85 innings, 45 saves, 102 strikeouts, 53 walks and a 3.60 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .233 batting average. |
