Bombers Clifton Leclair Will Miss Season Thursday, September 7th, 2034 A blow for Clifton Leclair today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a torn back muscle. Leclair suffered the injury making a defensive play. Although officials from the Bronx Bombers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Leclair's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. For the season Leclair has produced 16 hits in 71 at-bats for a .225 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .341 clip. |
