Zeh out; Given Walking Papers by Bomberos Wednesday, September 6th, 2034 Espanola has fired manager Josh Zeh. "We were not doing the things you've got to do every day," Bomberos general manager Joe Unknown told reporters. "We saw that things were not going to change. We had huge expectations coming into the season and we did not live up to them." The current coaching staff will be assigned to run the ballclub in the interim until a new manager can be hired. Zeh was told of his dismissal yesterday morning and was not available for comment. The Espanola spokesman called it a "sensitive and emotional" meeting with Zeh -- and would not discuss whether Zeh would be offered another job in the Bomberos system. |
