Antioch's Suzuki DKL Star of the Week Monday, September 4th, 2034 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Darryl Kile League, but last week Tatsuhito Suzuki of the Antioch Coal Miners reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Suzuki rocked opposing pitching for a .391 average (9-for-23), 5 home runs and 15 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Suzuki is hitting at a .345 pace with 9 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 32 games and scored 21 times. |
